What is one of your proudest moments?
My proudest moment was graduating from college. I had to pay my way through college by working and going to classes at the same time. I like to attribute my organizational skills to this experience.
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
The whole cooking process: from walking around the grocery store, to the mise en place, to the chopping and cooking. Although, it’d be great if washing dishes wasn’t a part of the cooking process.
What drew you to Sound Discipline?
I was drawn to Sound Discipline’s commitment to ensuring a positive learning environment for children. I was a part of an after-school program for Asian American youth that was integral to my experience as a student in high school preparing for college. I believe organizations like these, and Sound Discipline are important for the community, especially for communities of color.
