Our workshops are built for educators and administrators, childcare providers, youth workers, and other adults who work with children.
We offer parenting classes for parents and caregivers.
Currently, we offer workshops online and a limited number in person.

Reimagining Resilience: Using a Trauma Lens

Positive Discipline in the Classroom
Participants learn the basics of Positive Discipline and will acquire many tools with which to implement this approach in their classroom. We explore how to create an environment where students feel encouraged and engaged in learning, and feel a sense of connection, value and belonging. These series are hosted at a local school and open to all educators. Clock hours are available.

Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way
Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way Online provides a step-by-step approach to starting and leading experientially-based parenting groups using Positive Discipline and Adlerian philosophy. We model strategies and tools that can be used to teach parenting classes online and in-person.
FREE Parenting with Courage & Connection Introduction
In this 2-hour interactive workshop, parents and caregivers learn tips for using brain science to improve behavior at home and explore discipline with connection and firmness at the same time. Parents and caregivers will leave the workshop with simple, respectful parenting tools they can use right away!
Parenting with Courage & Connection 6-Week Series
In this interactive, 6-week series, we apply the latest brain science and child development research to the challenges of today. Deepen your understanding and reflect on parenting practices to raise caring, collaborative, capable kids.
Who can attend your workshops?
Reimagining Resilience: Anyone who works with youth who have experienced trauma, and also parents, caregivers and foster parents.
Positive Discipline in the Classroom: This series is for educators, administrators, and school staff who work in the school setting.
Any parents and caregivers can take our parenting classes and 6-week workshop series. Educators find it beneficial to take the parenting classes as well.
Teaching Parenting: Those who are interested in becoming a certified Positive Discipline parent educator.
Can I book a workshop specifically for my school or organization? Can you customize a workshop for us?

What are your fees?
Our fees vary for each workshop. Please see the registration pages for the workshops you are interested in taking. We always offer a discount for early bird registration, typically you must register a month in advance to get the early bird discount.
For our parenting classes, we offer flexible program fees so they are affordable for as many families as possible. We offer a FREE 2-hour parenting session 4x per year. Our 6-week series offers subsidized fees ranging from $10 – $175.
Do you offer in-person workshops?
When the pandemic began we converted all of our workshops to online format. We are slowly starting to offer in-person training again. We will continue to offer both online and in-person options moving forward.
Can I get a refund if I cannot attend the workshop for which I registered?
