Sound Discipline offers our workshops online. These interactive and engaging online workshops will help educators and those who work with youth to meet the challenges of connecting and building relationships with kids in an online environment. This online course is offered over three 75-minute sessions and helps adults build positive relationships with children who have experienced trauma. We will explore the impact of adverse experiences and the effect they have on developing brains and student behavior.
Reimagining Resilience is centered on the relationship between child and adult. It serves as the foundational course in Sound Discipline’s program offerings designed for teachers and other adults who work with young people. Participants receive a workbook. There are short videos that are sent to registrants before each session, which are available for use for 2 months after the class concludes.
Gain ideas for connection and community building which work both in person and online. Create an environment where students feel encouraged and engaged in learning, and feel a sense of connection, value and belonging.
This workshop is 12 hours total and is spread over multiple days. Participants purchase the Positive Discipline in the Classroom Manual which is used during the class.
In this online 75-minute workshop, you’ll learn to use some of the same tools from your physical classroom meetings to create engaging and successful class meetings online! We know that children need to feel safe and connected to learn. Class meetings include tools that teachers can use to create strong relationships and to make sure students feel that they belong, so that they can learn and thrive.
This is an interactive workshop that explores techniques and strategies to move your class meetings from the classroom carpet or desks to your online classroom. Come ready to play!

Parents build community and participate in activities designed to help them understand themselves, deepen an understanding of their children and bring more peace and joy into the home. We offer 2-hour introductory workshops and a 6-week series of classes.
