Trauma-Responsive School Transition
April 26 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
$45.00
Join us online Monday, April 26, 4 – 6pm.
The isolation, chronic unpredictability, and physical and emotional distance caused by the pandemic over the past year have had traumatic impacts on children. As schools shift to in-person or hybrid learning, we have heard the need for trauma-responsive tools and resources for creating a feeling of safety and rebuilding classroom community for students.
During this interactive workshop, you will –
– Gain specific tools and strategies to invite student contribution, build community, develop routines, and maintain self-regulation during the transition back to hybrid and in-person learning.
– Share ideas, experiences and build community with other educators to help support your work at this transitional time.
– Explore basic brain science to inform trauma-responsive practices.
