All funds raised through this special Sound Discipline campaign will be passed on to CIS to support their school supply drive
Communities in Schools (CIS) Renton School Supply Drive
From July through August, Communities In Schools(CIS) Renton collaborates with community partners, like Sound Discipline, to collect basic school supplies for K-12 public school students. When students don’t have the supplies they need for school, they may feel too embarrassed or ashamed to ask for help. At the end of the summer thousands of supplies are given directly to Public Schools in Renton to distribute to low-income students. When you put school supplies in the hands of kids who need them, you are helping eliminate a huge barrier to success.
Sound Discipline is collecting monetary donations to help Communities in Schools Renton provide school supplies to hundreds of local kids.

You can also drop off new, unused school supplies or backpacks in person to the CIS Renton office during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4 PM):

Why get involved?
As the average yearly cost of school supplies for a child is almost $100, many families are often forced to decide between feeding their family and purchasing school supplies. With your help, we can ease this burden for families.
* Sound Discipline and CIS are both registered 501(c)3 non-profits. All donations are tax deductible.
